2040 Financially Constrained Thoroughfare Plan (FCTP)

The Financially Constrained Thoroughfare Plan (FCTP) is a long range plan (20 years) that identifies transportation infrastructure type projects to be built. All projects on this list fall onto the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP), or the short term 4 year plan. The projects types include widening, new construction, and additional capacity at intersections. The projects listed in this plan are projects that have an identified funding source. The list is compiled from several different funding mechanisms, such as Lafayette Consolidated Governments Capital Improvement and bonding program, Lafayette MPO's Urban Systems monies, and DOTD interstate maintenance funds.
